This installment continues our goal of delving deeper into special topics related to the prevention and management of STD. Join us for valuable insights into delivering excellent sexual health care to adolescent populations.

Learning Objectives: 
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

 

1. Review adolescent and young adult vulnerabilities and risk factors that skew STD rates to their disadvantage, to improve patient outcomes.
2. List the essential components of youth friendly clinical services, to improve keep patients engaged in care.
3. Respond to current challenges to the prevention and management of STD in the adolescent population, to ensure infections are diagnosed and treated.
